Terms and Conditions for the LYS Artist Collective Contest
Eligibility
The contest is open to all emerging artists aged 18 or older at the time of entry.
Employees of León Y Sol Tequila, its affiliates, and their immediate families are not eligible to participate.
Submission Period
Submissions open on January 2, 2025, and must be received by February 15, 2025, 11:59 PM (PST).
Late or incomplete submissions will not be considered.
How to Enter
Participants must submit original designs that reflect León Y Sol’s ethos of fearless creativity, cultural richness, and innovation.
Submissions should be made via the official submission platform (insert submission link).
Submission Requirements
- All designs must be original and not infringe on any third-party rights.
- Participants grant León Y Sol the right to use, reproduce, and display their designs for promotional purposes related to the contest.
- Designs that contain offensive, defamatory, or inappropriate content will be disqualified.
Judging Criteria
- Designs will be evaluated based on creativity, alignment with León Y Sol’s brand values, and visual impact.
- A panel of esteemed judges and members of the León Y Sol community will select the top entries.
Prizes
- The top three designs will receive cash prizes:
- 1st Place: $3,000
- 2nd Place: $2,000
- 3rd Place: $1,000
- The top ten designs will be featured in the LYS Artist Collective, with winners gaining exposure and the opportunity to align their work with León Y Sol’s brand.
Winner Announcement
- Winners will be announced on March 15, 2025, via León Y Sol’s official website and social media platforms.
- Winners will be contacted directly using the information provided during submission.
Intellectual Property Rights
- By entering the contest, participants retain ownership of their designs but grant León Y Sol a non-exclusive license to use their designs for promotional and commercial purposes related to the contest.
General Conditions
- León Y Sol reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the contest if unforeseen circumstances arise.
- León Y Sol is not responsible for technical issues, lost submissions, or other errors beyond its control.
Disqualification
León Y Sol reserves the right to disqualify participants for violating the terms or engaging in fraudulent activities.
Privacy
Personal information collected during the contest will be used solely for contest administration and communication purposes.
